Corrina is a qualified drama teacher who has been facilitating drama workshops for over 8 years with a variety of community groups.
More recently she has been teaching at Gateshead College, where she uses drama as a platform to engage both learners with SEN and mainstream students. After graduating with a BA(Hons) Performing Arts Corrina undertook her teaching certificate, QTLS and will Graduate with a P.G.C.E in June 2014.
A keen script writer Corrina has a great interest and ability in improvisation and devising theatre. Recently a group of her students performed a devised piece of comedy theatre with great success. Increasing the self confidence of individuals is very important to Corrina and using a host of improvisation techniques has for her been a great way to do this.
Teaching drama has been a lifelong ambition which she has managed to fulfill and in doing so Corrina would like to continue to pass her enthusiasm on to her learners, in turn helping them fulfill their own dreams.
