Christmas Concerts.

Well done to all our pupils on producing 4 amazing Christmas Concerts you all performed exceptionally well!

Exams (LAMDA) the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.

Well done to all those who took exams this term everyone seemed very positive about how the exams went. Results can take up to 6 weeks, as soon as we receive them we will let you know.

In August 2019 LAMDA will introduce their new syllabus. Therefore, as we are currently preparing for our next exams on the current syllabus we would like everyone to take their next exam either in March or June of 2019.

Parents you will be notified via an invoice if your child is to take an exam next term.

Can I remind all pupils who undertake LAMDA tuition that they attend each week on time and with the folder we have provided you with.

Pupil Success

It has been lovely to see so many of our pupils being chosen for leading roles within their school productions this year. Well done! Many of our student’s attended various theatre auditions and were very successful. A number of you took part in Wizard of Oz at The Play House, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at The Tyneside Theatre and we look forward to seeing students appear in Peter Pan at The Whitley Bay Play House and The Geordie Panto- Aladdin at Gateshead Stadium this Christmas have a great run and enjoy!

Other auditions have included ITVs – Gino’s Win you Wish, 24 hrs at A&E and Britains Brightest Families. Congratulation to those who attended, School Of Rock Ensemble auditions and who travelled to London to audition for the Westend Musical Matilda. Successful or not, what a fantastic experience! Best of Luck to those who are in the next stage of auditions for WestEnd Calling in February next year, if successful students will get to perform in a Westend Theatre. We also look forward to seeing many of you take part in Madagascar next May at The Royal Grammar School.  Finally, thank you to all those who took part in interviews this week for The Guardian Newspaper. Interviews were based on a child right to vote and children’s opinions on Brexit and what it means to them. I look forward to reading the article.
